Job Opportunity - NZTE Business Development Manager, Food and Beverage Sector

This role will give you the opportunity to work with the New Zealand government’s international business development agency.

New Zealand food and beverage trade to China has enjoyed strong growth since the signing of the Free Trade Agreement in 2009- and this is just the start! NZTE are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Beijing and help New Zealand businesses enter and thrive in China.

Based in the New Zealand Embassy in Beijing and reporting directly to the Trade Commissioner, you will work with other Business Development Managers to drive commercial outcomes for our customers. You will use your F&B business knowledge, connections and commercial experience to proactively support New Zealand F&B companies develop and execute their business growth plans, including identifying and providing strategic introductions, market analysis, and research. You will need the confidence to be able to engage senior New Zealand and Chinese business leaders in commercial strategy discussions. As part of the wider global organisation, you will work with colleagues in Greater China, New Zealand and our other international offices to achieve the New Zealand government’s economic development goals.
