Responsible for the technical leadership of a manufacturing facility in East Tamaki, the role will lead the technical and quality compliance team and contribute to formulating business strategies. Strategy implementation will embed and drive world class manufacturing performance in the fries, vegetable processing and packaging operations. Responsibilities encompass commercial, technical, operations, food safety, waste management and people elements, with relationship management and stakeholder engagement highly important to success.
A relevant tertiary qualification is essential together with prior experience in managing an FMCG food production plant, ideally with experience of frozen fries. Characteristically for a leader at this level, you will have sound commercial acuity with knowledge of export food safety standards. Being curious and action oriented with a strong continuous improvement focus will contributed to success. With exceptional interpersonal skills, you are comfortable influencing internal and external decision makers, creating cohesive teams that are focused on achieving the vision and company goals.
