The New Zealand Embassy in Paris, France, is seeking a Property/Events/Protocol officer with significant planning and administration management skills who is looking for a challenging and varied role. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English are a requirement for the role.
The Property/Events/Protocol officer is responsible for managing day-to-day property issues in relation to the Chancery, Official Residence and leased staff accommodation, including liaising with service providers, landlords and rental agencies; planning and organising official functions; and with administrative protocol matters, assisting seconded colleagues in their day-to-day dealings with French administrations, such as vehicle purchasing and registration. The Property/Events/Protocol officer will also be responsible for managing the post’s IT requirements under the direction of the Administrative manager.
The Embassy in Paris represents the New Zealand Government to the highest standards of professional excellence across New Zealand’s political, trade and economic, defence and security and international development interests, as well as delivering consular services for New Zealanders in France and accredited countries of Monaco, Portugal and Senegal. The Property/Events/Protocol officer contributes to the achievement of the strategic priorities of the Post through the effective delivery of property, events management, protocol and general administrative support.
