This is a key appointment responsible for providing strategic leadership across our Tairāwhiti Campus and our broad network of Regional Learning Centres stretching from Ruatoria to Waipukurau, offering a wide range of learning opportunities to more than 4000 students each year.
As a member of the EIT Executive, the Campus Director will have significant leadership experience at a senior level. A passion for vocational education and an appreciation of the critical role it plays in supporting regional development strategies is important.
We are looking for a bold visionary thinker who is an accomplished networker and outstanding communicator with the ability to identify and realise opportunities.
This is a ‘hands on' role requiring someone who can work on the detail and make things happen quickly while also thinking of the ‘bigger picture’ in helping to shape the future.
In addition applicants will have:
- An advanced tertiary qualification
- A strong interest in vocational education
- A working knowledge of tikanga Māori with a conversational capability in te reo Māori an advantage.
