Key Purpose of Role:

As the Supply Chain Manager, you have the key responsibility to enable the sales growth of the company through the management and continual improvement of the production, supply chain, demand planning and stock management processes of Deadly Ponies.   You will develop and manage a highly efficient supply chain, ensuring raw material purchasing, stock levels, sales forecasts and distribution requirements are aligned to enable higher sales with improved gross margin through well planned production, inventory and critical date/gate plan management.

Working with an International supplier base, you will build key relationships to manage costs and develop a highly efficient supply chain for Deadly Ponies from Finished Samples through to final delivery of our product to our international customer base, vertical retail boutiques and concession stores.  This is to ensure that processes and systems are optimised to meet our needs, are in line with the financial objectives of the company and deliver agreed customer service levels. Your expertise and experience in Production, Supply Chain and Operations Management will allow you to deliver profitable, sustainable and ethical solutions throughout our supply chain process.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain

  • Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy including Production, Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management & Distribution related functions for the organization, developing annual plans, budgets including prioritisation and resourcing

  • Manage vendor relationships (i.e. from factory to third party logistics) including contract management ensuring relevant 3rd party audits, QC and H&S operating guidelines are adhered to

  • Continuously seek workmanship, efficiency, cost improvements and ensure waste minimization across the entire supply chain

  • Identify and manage risk within the supply chain to address tactical and strategic supply chain issues

  • Stay informed of advances in supply chain technology and approaches, and apply within the organization to improve supply chain processes
