In this role, you will use your strong consulting experience to provide dedicated strategy leadership and support for Countdown’s leading and rapidly expanding digital business. This role will report to the General Manager of Strategy, but work closely alongside the General Manager of Digital and be part of the Digital Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities include
Acting as an internal strategy consultant within the Countdown business – using your strategy consulting experience
Driving, supporting, communicating and overseeing strategic planning and prioritisation for Countdown’s digital business
Hands on project leadership and support including in the areas of eCommerce, loyalty, digital marketing and analytics, customer experience and other business development opportunities
Building and maintaining strong relationships with middle, senior and executive management across both Countdown and the wider Woolworths Group
What we are looking for
Proven strategy consultant, strongly degree qualified, MBA an advantage
6+ years of business experience in strategic thinking and project delivery
At least 2+ years within a top tier strategy consultancy or corporate strategy team (essential)
Self motivated, hands on, “can do”, commercial and down to earth
Some project experience with digital, data, loyalty, partnerships and/or online strategy highly valued
Leadership capabilities and the ability to work well autonomously and in teams in pressured and/or ambiguous situations
Deep experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks, leading projects and managing change
A track record of successfully defining, mobilising and translating strategies into action and delivering results; Demonstrated ability to influence, establish & maintain strong relationships with senior management and diverse stakeholders
Superb written and oral communication, strong structured thinking and organisation. Highly proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint and able to produce concise and impactful decks / presentations
