MinterEllisonRuddWatts has an impressive Dispute Resolution team that has an outstanding track record for resolving the most challenging disputes. We have acted on some of the biggest cases in New Zealand, and have some of the country’s most capable litigators.

To assist our highly regarded partner, Mark Sandelin, we are seeking a litigator who has specialist expertise in relationship property claims and trust and estate disputes. The role will see you resolving relationship property disputes and advising on the restructure and protection of assets following a separation. While you will primarily be involved in relationship property disputes, there is the opportunity to be involved in other civil disputes, if you have the desire to do so.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years’ experience in family law/relationship property law. We are looking for someone who can run cases with a reasonable degree of autonomy.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a busy role, have a calm and organised manner, strong communication and mediation skills, excellent drafting skills, strong academics, and display a true passion for their work.
