Empire Live, in partnership with The O2, will take place 23 - 25 September 2016 and will give fans the chance to immerse themselves in the world of movies. The blockbuster event will offer three days of unrivalled film programming, including world premieres, exclusive screenings, curated-bills and pop-up parties. It will draw together the world’s best actors, directors and writers, allowing attendees to fully indulge their love of movies.
We are now looking for a Marketing Executive to be the day to day contact for marketing of this event, working on a 6 month contract.You will manage the day to day contact with Bauer marketing team ensuring all assets and communications are up to date and wider teams are briefed. You will implement the Empire Live marketing activity across all channels and manage the Empire Live marketing budget.
Other responsibilities include the development of all creative and copy, plus artwork for all assets for The O2 channels; co-ordination of all AEG/The O2 brand approvals in relation to Empire Live; and development and management of Empire Live website including all content and copy.
You will also have overall responsibility for implementing the Empire Live Marcomms plan via The O2 channels; work with our ticketing partner AXS to ensure that communications are all seamless and on time and liaise with our Global Partnerships team to identify campaign partners/sponsors to ensure that all assets are available and marketing activity implemented.
Experience of working within a marketing team or agency at Marketing Executive level (or equivalent) and an understanding of marketing campaign implementation are essential. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build good internal and external relationships; be committed and flexible in your approach to work and be able to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise work.
