Purpose:

Provide the business and employees a ‘single point of contact’ HR partner and support to defined support area, and ensure that the leaders, managers and employees receive the expected value and partnership from Group HR. Cultivate and maintain a culture of trust and engagement between management and employees within the organization and supporting the execution of Group’s People/HR strategy and its key pillars.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works in partnership with the HR teams (Global, APAC, Local)
  • who supports the relevant businesses ensuring that that processes/advise are aligned and consistent
  • communicates  and partners with Global/regional/local HR teams as needed on global topics and priorities
  • aligns consistently and closely with the relevant Global HR teams
  • Manage the full employee life cycle from recruitment to departure to ensure that the employees are fully integrated and supported by the Group’s HR processes; aligning all processes according to relevant and appropriate HR practises and procedures
  • Work closely with LMs and Senior Leaders in supporting performance and potential of their respective teams (e.g. team line up, regular HR fitness check) and support agreed action plans
  • Manage, resolve and coach Managers/Emploees on employee relations issues
  • Manage together with the business personnel cost planning, annual salary rounds and promotions/salary adjustments for business partner area in accordance with HR processes and GSMS-process
  • Inputs, monitors and reports on  HR KPIs and communicates these with the business
  • Take ownership for key global and cross functional projects/initiatives derived from HR Strategy  or the business needs for for the specific support area
  • Quickly responding to complaints/ questions/needs from line managers/ employees
  • Sources solutions to build skills and capabilities in partnership with the CoE teams
  • Understands and communicates HR tools, processes and concepts and tools to employees, in supported of our performance culture
  • Recommend, implement and update guidelines and policies in order to ensure relevant HR services and consistent standards of employment
  • Together with the Rewards Mobility team, manage international employees in alignment with Global Mobility and Transfer policy.  (In alignment with LM and Global HR standards manage the full expatriate/international employee process from onboarding/relocation to repatriation/end of contract transitions
  • Drive the implementation of key HR Talent, Performance and Succession tools and work closely with other HRMs and HR Talent in enhancing our processes to support the business more closely. This also incorporates liaison with Line  and Senior Management and employees in regards to our in-house training  Learning Campus and other relevant learning activities
  • Ensure proper updates of SAP/HR Systems (e.g. Org Mgt, Recruitment) and HR reports (applicants, open positions, entry/exit, etc) on a regular basis
  • Stand in for line manager (HRD) as needed

Requisite Education and Experience:

  • University degree or equivalent (preferably related to HR)
  • International exposure through internship or study abroad is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years progressive work experience in the field of HR with a global/regional company
  • Solid project management experience
  • English fluent (written and oral)
  • MS-Office skills, SAP experience is a plus
