The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is responsible for protecting and promoting New Zealand's interests overseas. The Documents, Records and Archives Unit sit within the Information Management Division and are responsible for the management and oversight of documents, records and archives to enable staff to access and share information.
We are seeking a Senior Adviser with proven experience or knowledge to provide document and records management services in an electronic information environment. You will work within a team to support the use and operation of a global EDRMS. This will include provision of services for all staff with a focus on organisational compliance to ensure consistency of rules and standards. This will include maintaining and implementing retention and disposal, appraisal, categorisation structures and metadata schemas to meet international standards and legislative requirements. You will develop and deliver effective learning programmes for the use of a global EDRMS and advise on operational approaches to document and records management.

You will utilise both technical knowledge and customer focus to deliver services to support records and information systems, policies and processes.
