We are seeking a Business Support Manager, to join our vibrant Sales operations department at our Hammersmith office in London.
As a small airline in a highly competitive market place, looking after our customers and providing exceptional service is essential to our success. You'll be leading the team, who sell and promote the Air New Zealand product whenever possible and maintain an awareness within the team for making sales and superior customer service their main focus. You'll play the important role of working with Sales & Market Development UK/EU Managers to create an environment that motivates the team.
As our Business Support Manager, you'll be responsible for supervising the day to day running of UK Sales Support and EU Sales Support + Direct Sales operations to ensure the team meets their objectives and contribute positively to the regions overall performance.
The role requires the monitoring of individual performance on an ongoing and regular basis and addressing areas that require further coaching or improvement. You'll set realistic, achievable and stretch goals for team members, along with creating and supporting the team with developmental opportunities.
To be considered, you'll join us with airline or relevant travel industry experience (Airline system/GDS experience and expertise highly desirable) You will have strong leadership skills, and be a leader who provides direction and coaching, encourages teamwork, inspires confidence and enlists the best performance of colleagues and external resources!
You'll need the ability to plan workloads, rosters, meet deadlines while working under pressure as well as experience in supervising / managing staff. Sound commercial experience in customer services or sales environment essential.
