The company distributes furniture throughout New Zealand to a varied customer base including designers, specifiers, retailers, hotels, health boards and retirement villages.
Based in Christchurch and covering a geographical region including the lower North Island and the South Island, you will be responsible for all sales and marketing activity in your region. Accountabilities include the growth of profitable revenue streams from existing accounts, continuing to develop the existing customer base and also the development of relationships to generate new customer business. Kovacs believes in everyone working as a team and actively encourages staff to share ideas, believing that everyone can make a valuable contribution to the overall success of the company.
Candidates will have a proven track record of successfully selling a service or product that requires a good “design eye”. Creative and enthusiastic, you will have excellent communication and relationship building skills and will possess a strong customer focus. Successful applicants will be highly organised with strong attention to detail and will enjoy a role with full autonomy.
