Stihl Shop Fosters Group was founded in 1973, starting out as Fosters Outdoor Power Equipment, a small business servicing and repairing machines in an old caravan in the back yard. The company has now progressed to a team of over 40 staff and three Stihl Shop retail outlets: Blenheim Road, Northwood Rangiora, as well as a fast growing B2B commercial division. The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for providing sales and marketing leadership to ensure the company meets its business goals. Along with managing the performance of the retail stores, managers and staff, you will also have responsibility for developing and delivering new commercial business and customer strategies. To maximise brand and product exposure and drive sales revenue, you will also lead the marketing and branding strategies of the company. Maintaining the strong team culture whilst driving profitable and sustainable growth will be a key responsibility in this opportunity.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have sales leadership experience, exposure to the retail environment and a strong commercial acumen. Ideally you will have experience in commercial business to business sales leadership and the ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
