The Role

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will be part of the leadership team providing support in the field to area, operations and branch managers across the South Island. Your advice, coaching and support will ensure our sites are compliant across all disciplines of the business and add value to our operations team and clients alike. Additionally, there will be travel to support the South Island team. Your key responsibilities will include:

·     Reviewing team and individual skills and capabilities against operational SOP’s and business requirements

·     Developing HSEQ and operational plans to meet skill and capability requirements and coordinating their implementation

·     Mentoring, advising and supporting key staff to adopt and deliver HSEQ and operational compliance programmes

·     Reporting on compliance programme outcomes

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a health & safety or other relevant qualification, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to form strong relationships across all levels within an organisation. Your hands on, flexible and practical approach will be essential in this role along with exceptional attention to detail.
