Are you up for the challenge of joining our team and helping New Zealand companies grow bigger, better, faster?
Do you look for challenges and then over deliver? Are you proactive, energised and looking for your next career step? If you want to build your career and gain exposure to business operations in Europe then you need to read on.
New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is the country's international business development agency. We help businesses grow internationally - bigger, better, faster - for the benefit of New Zealand. We do this by providing our customers with programmes and services that include a focus on strategy, performance improvement, go-to-market plans and building global networks for business development.
The Regional Operations Manager role exists to ensure that NZTE has the best possible operational management throughout the region so that we can focus on effectively supporting our customers to achieve their goals. You will work closely with the Regional Director and play a senior role in the European Leadership Team.
This is a hands-on role with huge variety. You will be involved in a range of finance, project management, human resources and stakeholder engagement activities, as well as provide a vital link back to colleagues in New Zealand - fostering a collaborative and consistent approach to operational management throughout the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be results-oriented with a strong ability to 'get stuff done' and turn your hand to many things.
- Have an excellent ability to build trusted relationships and work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to travel frequently will allow you to look continuously for opportunities to improve efficiencies and regional processes.
In return we offer a dynamic environment where you'll work with people with some serious expertise, who are passionate about achieving that clear purpose of helping kiwi businesses win on the world stage.
If you have a strong finance background and are now keen to broaden your experience within a dynamic region and a global organisation, please check out the position description and apply now.
While we prefer the role be based in either London or Hamburg, we would consider Milan, Madrid or Paris for the right candidate.
Please note that this is a locally engaged position and candidates must be legally entitled to live and work in Europe.
