Allied Concrete, a division of HW Richardson, is looking to appoint a dynamic Regional Manager to lead the region’s commercial growth and development. Leading a team of 120 staff and a network of 6 concrete plants, you will have oversight of operational, financial and people performance, strategic planning and risk. Commercial relationship management is crucial in this role as is a strong focus on optimisation and sustainability to drive efficiencies across the region.
Reporting to the GM of Allied Concrete, you will be responsible for all aspects of the management and leadership of Allied Concrete’s Auckland and Northland regions. This includes business management and development, financial performance, staff leadership and quality management. A key focus will be strategic planning and delivery for the region in line with the national strategy to ensure market leadership particularly in the areas of Health and Safety, people and service solutions.
To thrive in this position, you will be a leader with proven operational experience. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills are essential coupled with a tenacious approach. Experience in a related industry would be advantageous, but an understanding of the construction industry and the ability to drive key initiatives are of greater importance. Previous experience managing a P&L and strong commercial acumen will allow you to enhance the performance of the business.
