This position will look after our North America region and will give you the opportunity to travel to the region at least once a year to visit your team. The prime function of this role will be to ensure that the financial management aspects of the region's operations are met within the objectives of the Board of Directors. This is a varied and interesting post where you will be tasked with managing all manner of financial reporting, taxation, and controls. You'll also ensure relevant accounting procedures are adhered to and implemented for the region's operations.
You'll be a chartered accountant with post-qualification experience preferably gained from either a multi-national firm or within the technology sector. Ideally you will have work experience in either the UK, Europe or North America where you would have gained an understanding of their accounting practices. Working with and supporting staff around the world, you'll have an approachable manner and the ability to ensure compliance worldwide.
You pride yourself on your exceptional organisational skills, well-honed critical analysis skills and your 'every t crossed' attention to detail. You'll also be able to multi-task and you're in your element dealing with a huge array of personalities, nationalities and cultures across our company offices. You will also be happy being a part of a small and very supportive group finance team based at our Dunedin Office.
