· Driver dispatch and scheduling, meeting all compliance requirements
· Team mentoring, training, development and related administration
· Health & Safety – risk assessment, PPE, vehicle check sheets, log books
· Ensuring timely, preventative and scheduled truck maintenance, collaborating with third-party maintenance provider
· Engaging with customers tailoring to their specific needs
Experience in managing day to day operations from relevant sectors such as transport and logistics, waste, landfill or civil construction is sought, including understanding aspects of daily resource management, planning & scheduling, and continuous improvement to develop the business over the long term. Sound report writing and exposure to budgets will be highly valued. With excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, you are comfortable communicating with external stakeholders and influencing teams focused on achieving the vision and company goals.
