Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer you will provide leadership for all operational aspects of the manufacturing team of 40 staff including Supply Chain, Production and the Engineering Workshop, as well as Health & Safety and Quality Management. This role liaises closely with other department leaders including the Commercial & Finance Manager, GM Sales & Marketing and Technology Manager. You will lead ‘end to end’ operations strategy planning and implementation to deliver the product range to the market on time and to the required standards. Proven manufacturing methods will improve the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the business as it strives towards becoming a world class facility.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you willhave operations and production management experience within a similar product processing environment. You will have highly developed leadership skills and experience and a knowledge of world class manufacturing processes and techniques, with a good understanding of LEAN manufacturing. Analytical thinking and problem solving with an organised and structured approach will prove beneficial. You will be a good communicator who drives a positive team culture and is results focused. It is likely you will have a relevant tertiary qualification.
