The Occupational Therapy Department in Greymouth, is looking for an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in Paedatrics to join us in a permanent, full time role providing effective assessment and treatment to clients throughout the West Coast.
You will work collaboratively with other members of the West Coast DHB Child Development Service and other health and community agencies, as well as having the opportunity to work 0.2 FTE (1 day per week) for the Ministry of Education with their Special Needs Students and class teams.
As a NZ registered Occupational Therapist you’ll use your clinical assessment and intervention skills in implementing safe and effective occupational therapy practice to enable optimal outcomes for clients.
As with all our roles, you will have the opportunity to work across the health system, with clients of varying ages and needs. You’ll have great communication skills and experience in working with interdisciplinary teams to demonstrate effective contact with clients, their family/ whanau, other health professionals and agencies.
As our service covers a wide area of the West Coast, a full (manual) NZ driver's licence is essential.
