Our client is a market leader and global business looking for a passionate Occupational Hygienist to join the Health and Safety team in the NZ business.  This role offers diversity and opportunity for personal growth while being supported both locally and globally.  

 

Within the scope of this position you will enjoy the best of both worlds; typical Occupational Hygienist responsibilities coupled with being the technical support guru to the wider NZ business.  Supporting clients, sales and marketing teams and bringing solutions that have health and wellbeing at the forefront.

 

Travelling up to 30% of your time throughout NZ with a few trips to Australia to join the wider team this is an opportunity for you not only to make a difference, but also support and influence.

 

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical training to the regional sales professionals
  • Supporting the Customer Services team, distributors and customers
  • Resolving customer issues with technical requirements
  • Reviewing new or competitive products and being across what is happening with competitors
  • Submission of innovative ideas, business cases and relevant changes required in the market
  • Presenting to customers and adding credibility within the Sales process
  • With much much more

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Experienced Occupational Hygienist working with people's health and safety
  • Great communication
  • A supportive nature with business outcomes in mind
  • A hand on what is best practice and new innovations
  • The ability to travel and work independently
