NZTE helps businesses grow internationally - bigger, better, faster - for the benefit of New Zealand. We thrive on providing our customers (NZ businesses) with world-class advice on how to expand internationally and succeed on the world stage.

NZCentral is a purpose built venue in Shanghai where we host events for our customers and visitors.  We're looking for a very special person to take ownership of the role of NZCentral Coordinator.  This exciting role is vital to the success of the venue as you will ensure each and every one of our visitors is given a warm kiwi welcome.

This is a diverse role where you'll be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the venue as well as coordinating and supporting corporate functions in close collaboration with our local Event Managers. To be really successful in this role you'll need to be someone who is genuinely interested in our customers and understands their business so that when you're welcoming visitors to the venue you'll see the value in making introductions that could be beneficial to developing their business in China.

Ideally you'll be innately organised, multi-task with ease, have strong attention to detail, and above all possess amazing interpersonal skills.  You'll be calm under pressure, professional and not afraid to ask the right questions to gain greater understanding of ways to exceed expectations both internally and externally every time.

This role requires someone who is an outstanding communicator in both Chinese and English.  You'll also demonstrate an understanding of Chinese and New Zealand cultures and show a passion for promoting New Zealand.

If this sounds like you and you would like to be part of a passionate and enthusiastic organisation with a mission to export kiwi ingenuity around the world, then please read the attached position description and apply via email to Shanghaijobs2@nzte.govt.nz  attaching your CV and cover letter.

Applications close Thursday 24 May 2018 5.00pm China Standard Time (9.00pm NZ time).
