THE COMPANY:

THE ROLE:

With the impending retirement of the long-serving incumbent, Moffat seek a new National Sales Manager to lead their committed sales team and further develop a high-performance sales culture for the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager Sales / Group Export Manager, this role will quickly assimilate the industry, the channels and the influencers in order to become an authority on Moffat’s brand and product solutions. Providing strategic and operational sales leadership, the National Sales Manager will successfully coach and develop their team’s consultative selling capability and effectiveness in order to continue to build brand and distribution performance, deliver increased customer satisfaction and further enhance Moffat’s market leadership position in NZ.

THE PERSON:

Applicants will possess extensive Sales Management experience and be able to demonstrate how they have successfully led, motivated and developed a high performing sales team, ideally within in a commercial foodservice/FMCG or related industry. Candidates will be well-versed working in a B2B and B2E sales environment, driving brand, product and segment development initiatives and delivering tangible sales and profitability growth. Well-developed commercial acumen is essential, in addition to being IT savvy and displaying exceptional relationship management, communication and negotiation skills. 

Travel will be required in this national role and as a result, Moffat are open to candidates being based in either Auckland (Mt Wellington), or at their manufacturing facility near Christchurch (Rolleston - Izone).
