OMD Auckland are looking for an ambitious Account Manager (Planner/Buyer) to join their team as a result of winning new business and internal shifts.
Reporting to the Account Director in the team, the Account Manager will be responsible for day to day account management and client relationships. The role includes planning across all media (including digital) and taking a holistic view across paid, owned and earned channels.
Therefore, digital experience (or a desire to quickly upskill in this area) is an advantage.
This role will see you working on a portfolio of local clients who value innovative media thinking, providing the opportunity to work collaboratively with all of OMD’s specialist business units. As a result, you will get to work with a diverse range of talented and inspiring people every day and broaden your industry knowledge.
In addition to having at least 2 years’ experience in a media agencyyou will also be able to:
Experience working with a team to meet the needs of clients and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction levels
Strong attention to detail
Having a solid understanding of all media channels and implementation planning
Confidence to communicate clearly, listen effectively and present your work in a persuasive way (internally and to clients)
- A strong understanding of commercial issues and business drivers for your clients’ categories
- Be organised and managed their own workload and that of the Account Executive/Media Assistant
- A strong analytical mind able to demonstrate numerical accuracy within a business environment
