Responsible for the development and implementation of the New Zealand marketing strategy, this position has big budgets to deliver commercially successful outcomes in alignment with business goals. A tactical and strategic perspective is required, from immersion in fast, programmed marketing campaigns to strategy development for revenue and profit growth. You will guide and engage a capable team, work closely with leaders in the business, and manage external relationships. With a future focus, recognising and exploring opportunities as well as creating a sustainable NPD pipeline are included elements.
A natural leader, you are adept in mentoring the marketing team; with a reputation for building effective relationships and a collaborative approach to achieving results. Strategic, commercial and numbers-orientated, you are also a confident and credible presenter at executive level internally and externally. Your ability to tailor brand propositions and strategies to a variety of markets is critical, as is utilising insights and research to position brands. Experience in a competitive, multi-site consumer business is ideal as you appreciate the importance of speed, innovation and building brands.
