The Invercargill Licensing Trust (ILT) operates 26 businesses in the hospitality sector across Invercargill, including hotels, motels, restaurants, catering venues, bars, retail and wholesale liquor distribution, as well as motels in Dunedin and Christchurch.  The ILT has a rich heritage of investing in leading edge hospitality facilities and funding significant community projects through its distribution of profits to over 400 community organisations each year.

This role, which has become available following an internal promotion, offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketing executive who aspires to further develop their management career.  Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing & Sales Manager will be responsible for the effective design and implementation of ILT’s corporate marketing plan, and the development of conference, event and promotional marketing campaigns.  In conjunction with the CEO and Business Managers, the Marketing & Sales Manager will also be accountable for developing and supporting the delivery of marketing plans for the individual ILT businesses.  Engaging with community groups and participating in local events and sponsorship activities is a key focus of the role, as is strategic marketing development and delivery to reflect the rapidly changing needs of ILT’s customer mix.  .

·         Confidence in the effective utilisation of social media, digital and other marketing tools.

·         Ability to lead, influence and inspire others.

·         Self-motivated, adaptable and action-orientated.

·         Strong community engagement focus and affinity with the Southland region.
