There is an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Internal Communications to join the Suncorp NZ Customer Experience team.
Suncorp New Zealand is a subsidiary function of the Suncorp Group.
The Manager, Internal Communications is responsible for contributing to the achievement of the Suncorp New Zealand strategic plan and business objectives through development and implementation of an internal communications strategy and tactics.
The role is responsible for ensuring that Suncorp NZ people hear a common and consistent ‘voice’ from the Suncorp New Zealand CEO and throughout the NZ function.
To be successful in this role you will be:
-Innovative, with a demonstrated ability to bring fresh thinking to how to communicate clearly using multiple channels and including experience of working in a global or multi-location environment
-An effective influencer with outstanding ability to build strong relationships, including experience working with a CEO (or equivalent) and senior leadership team and also prepared to roll your sleeves up and work collaboratively to support business initiatives
-Comfortable working in a complex, fast paced environment and challenging the status quo to provide value added internal communications advice to internal clients and as part of the Suncorp internal communications practice
-Commercially minded and be comfortable with conducting analyses to better drive internal communication activities and channels, making recommendations for action on the same
We’re looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or journalism and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior communications roles.
