- Manage and report key operational activities for the Global Markets Origination Team
- Process the on-boarding of new to bank Global Markets Commercial and Corporate clients
- Assist, develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to achieve efficiency for customer on-boarding
- Assist the Head of Origination in the execution of initiatives to streamline and assess different referral opportunities and processes via internal and external channels

The ASB Global Markets team offers a wide range of products and services to help our clients manage cash flow and liquidity, fund expansion and growth and manage their risk in foreign exchange, commodities, interest rates, derivatives and securities markets.
We have a new opportunity for an Operations and Performance Manager to join the team on a 12 month fixed term / secondment.
The role: what you will do
Reporting to the Head of Origination you will be responsible for the on-boarding of clients across the Corporate and Commercial client base ensuring stringent process and documentation needs are delivered. You will maintain and manage daily revenue mapping for the Origination Managers whilst driving efficiency for the on-boarding process of new clients. Working closely with operational, compliance and the relationship teams you will have the experience make recommendations for process improvement and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the Head of Origination to execute key strategic drivers, to ultimately create capacity and enable our Origination Managers to focus on new customer acquisition.
You will provide reporting and insights to the Head of Origination and the Origination Managers to provide a view of performance within the existing client base, optimise further opportunities across other product areas as well as external client opportunities.
What you will bring
To be successful you will have the ability to learn process and regulatory requirements quickly via on the job training. An understanding of ASB systems and products is ideal yet not essential, it will be your ability to look at processes to consider and implement efficiencies in complex client arrangements that will see you make this role a success.
In addition you will have good data and analytical skills in order to review sales data to understand profitable performance and make recommendations to relationship managers on opportunities within.
This is fantastic role for someone with frontline / customer experience, the ability to work with broader team members to drive change and efficiency and an understanding of the client on-boarding process and working within regulated environments.
