Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will lead the organisation’s Logistics Planning Team based in Christchurch responsible for managing the load-out and transport of ANZCO’s products to domestic and export customers. Ensuring operational optimisation and costing efficiencies across the transportation and logistics functions, your team will work collaboratively with the Sales, Marketing and Documentation Teams as well as the processing sites. Through partnerships with external parties and contractors, you will ensure delivery expectations and efficiencies are met and maximised where possible.

To be successful ideally you will have a tertiary commerce or logistics/supply chain qualification, management background, strong analytical and organisational skills, with demonstrated communication, leadership and problems solving capabilities. Inventory reporting, analysis and systems knowledge are required, and experience in the manufacturing environment and red meat sector is desirable. Ideally you will have broad commercial acumen, foster a professional work environment, develop internal and external relationships, and be able to positively influence others.
