Who we are:

The Government to Government Partnerships Team (G2G– Know How), works in partnership with the New Zealand public sector, commercialising its globally recognised expertise by selling it to foreign governments and in turn generating international revenue for the New Zealand public sector.  

What you’ll be doing:

The Lead Generation Specialist’s primary objective is to undertake prospecting activity that grows the number of quality leads in the G2G sales pipeline.  In this role you will undertake research activity to hunt out deal opportunities in selected markets and qualify those where G2G can deliver expertise and match client needs.  You will cultivate relationships within these large complex funding bodies, build an understanding of their procurement processes and will work collaboratively with the G2G Commercial and Business Development team to develop a programme of next steps for these leads to be passed through to the BDM and Commercial Management team for progression into the G2G sales funnel.

What you’ll need to be successful:

As this role is 6 months fixed term, we will need you to hit the ground running! You will bring a hunting mentality to the role, working with commercial rigour and at pace! You will bring experience in lead generation and have the ability to identify and navigate key funding partners where G2G can prospect for sales leads. An understanding of procurement processes is key in this role as well as the ability to collaborate across the G2G team and wider NZTE team.
