Join the Beca Project Strategy & Delivery team in the Tauranga branch, where you will be part of a market leading practice across Cost Management in this region. You will play a key client facing role delivering quality outputs using your Cost Management skills. We strive to provide our clients with strategic front-end advice, robust estimating, and value-add post contract services to achieve the best possible project outcomes. You will be at the forefront of developing the reputation of the practice across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions across a variety of projects in the infrastructure, water, education and health sectors, working with our clients who are doing incredible things every day.
This is a unique leadership role which will enable you to inspire, mentor, shape and develop the team, growing both their capability and expertise and that of the practice, in a collaborative and fun team culture. The team are experienced and ready for leadership guidance to develop their careers and improve project delivery.
You will also be a key part of the network of Beca cost managers operating across New Zealand, enabling you and your colleagues to collaborate and leverage projects, experience and opportunities across the Beca business.
Regular monthly travel is required, particularly across the region between the Tauranga and Hamilton branches.
In this role, you will have plenty of scope for success and we are looking for a high performing professional with a real passion for project delivery, cost management and achieving client outcomes. You will enjoy being a trusted advisor for the many disciplines within Beca we collaborate with daily on a variety of projects.
You will be an energetic and passionate leader with a bias for action, known for working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to make things happen. You will enjoy building relationships and understand key project requirements, leading people and commercial judgement.
This role may suit candidates from a broad range of backgrounds. However, a background in civil infrastructure as well as experience across the region would be an advantage. You may be operating in the contractor environment and be looking for a move into working in a consulting and professional services firm like Beca. You will have demonstrated experience across the cost management function and working with clients across complex problems, turning their ideas into reality.
