To support their continued growth, Synlait are in the process of implementing IBP – Integrated Business Planning – an international best practice company-wide management process, proven to increase efficiency, effectiveness and profitability. IBP ensures an in-depth focus and alignment throughout all areas of the business from business development, sales, operations and supply chain to supporting functions of finance, human resources and information technology. IBP will give Synlait much more complete business management information over a 24-36 month horizon, facilitating improved levels of financial and operational performance, increasing employee engagement and driving customer satisfaction.
Responsible for setting up reporting standards and templates for the IBP process, the IBP Reporting Analyst supports the IBP Manager and has accountability for high quality consolidated reporting of the IBP process across all areas of the business. The IBP Reporting Analyst will enhance the quality of consolidated information provided for management review, pulling together the IBP executive packs for monthly SLT meetings and ensuring their completeness. This role will also ensure reports are fit for purpose with a focus on the continuous improvement of optimal report format, frequency, presentation and distribution.
Suitable candidates will have a high degree of analytical reporting capability and likely come from an analytical finance/commercial/supply chain reporting background. Tertiary qualified, applicants will have a proven track record of analytical reporting capability and be comfortable presenting both high-level and detailed business information in a clear, executive style to SLT/Board level. An understanding of how large complex commercial businesses drive performance over time along with experience in a large multinational corporation is also highly beneficial – ideally gained within a dairy/manufacturing/FMCG environment.
