This business is focussed on shaping a sustainable future for their industry, efficiently converting waste into usable every day products.  A research and development company they produce mechanical and chemical raw materials extracted from industrial waste, apply unique processes and on sell for manufacture of a range of products.


Responsibilities include the setup and performance of complex equipment and test setups for the lab research team in a chemical production testing environment. Also responsible for the setup and performance of complex equipment and test setups for scaling up technology, there may be build and/or adaption required, based on data and collaboration with engineering and solutions agreed.  Continuous improvement and maintenance are integral to the role as is understanding test data and reporting of results across the business.


Completing an electronics/instrumentation qualification, relevant experience may have been as an electronics technician in an engineering lab environment.  Applicable is work in chemical lab and experience in control systems.   There will be opportunity to use ability in design and build electro-mechanical prototypes and test fixtures, organise, procure and manage materials for projects, do light electronic and mechanical design work for test fixtures and light machining.  This role will appeal to practical and technical minded individuals who are strong communicators, team oriented, and demonstrate curiosity with a focus on continuous improvement.
