We have an excellent opportunity for an ICT Asset Management and Support Team Leader to join our growing team in this newly created position. This is a wide reaching and demanding role looking after ICT Asset management and the desktop support function within our ICT Operations and Delivery team. The role will provide compliance advice and leadership, develop and improve asset related procedures, manage hardware and software technology roadmaps, whilst also being a part of our fantastic Desktop Support team who are focused on remote support for ICT requests and incidents.
This role involves working with several different teams across several different countries to ensure we have optimal hardware and software configuration and compliance so our employees can work as effectively and efficiently as possible. With the ICT team supporting 17 offices globally, you will have many opportunities and lots of variety.
Your day to day duties will include prioritising a wide range of problems and project tasks (both proactive and reactive) as well as leading a high performing team, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and a high level of team engagement is maintained. You will need to be a great communicator to ensure that priorities, updates, changes and successes are communicated effectively. A continuous improvement mind-set is key to being successful in this role, as you continually look to improve processes and technology. You will work with a wide range of suppliers and vendors to ensure we always have strong partnerships to provide the best hardware and software currently available to our business. Skills and experienceThe successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- ICT related tertiary qualification
- Demonstrable experience as an SCCM administrator
- Application packaging experience would be beneficial
- Software Asset Management experience
- Experience in corporate ICT asset management role
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Previous leadership experience of a corporate ICT support and/or asset management team
