We need your commercial smarts and know-how to manage a portfolio of health sector companies (med device, health IT and pharma). This exciting role includes working with entrepreneurial New Zealand companies to develop and execute their ambitious growth plans in the US. You will play a key role in evaluating the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of our customers in comparison to their competitors and support them with their market entry, market capability, and growth strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the US healthcare industry’s purchasing and procurement structure and processes; hands on business development experience; and strong knowledge of the key challenges and opportunities for foreign companies wanting to do business in the US. You will be confident in building and leveraging business networks and be able to think strategically and execute tactically. A willingness to “roll your sleeves up” will be a crucial factor in being able to get alongside our companies and contribute to their success. You will have superior communication, business consulting and relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
