Saint Kentigern is recognised as a leading New Zealand Independent family of schools providing future focused, Christian education for students in four schools on three Auckland campuses.  A broad range of educational opportunities that meet international standards is offered to more than 2750 girls and boys aged 3 to 18 years.

Experiencing continued growth, Saint Kentigern is introducing a new organisational structure to cater effectively for current requirements and future development, with the creation of this role to lead the whole organisation. 

Working closely with the Saint Kentigern Trust Board through its Chairman, the Head of Saint Kentigern has overall responsibility for leadership of the organisation, providing oversight, direction and support to the four School Principals and Chief Operating Officer. A key role will be to ensure the organisation performs consistently to international benchmarks in all educational, operational, and financial aspects. This will include the development of growth strategies aligned to leadership in their sector. 

This position requires proven educational leadership, a visionary perspective and management expertise. With an interest in all aspects of educational development including global trends, candidates will be strategic thinkers, able to explore and evaluate opportunities. Exceptional interpersonal skills, executive presence, and an inspiring, collegial people leadership style are required.  A strong commitment to Christian values and the school’s Presbyterian character as well as the desire to accomplish excellence in all areas of school life is expected.
