A critical component of our success to date has been our team based in China. With more than 30 people now working across Foshan and Xi'an, the team work on both software engineering maintenance and new feature development, as well as providing customer support. We have had an expatriate manager in place since the teams foundation 7 years ago, and they have now returned home to rejoin our team in New Zealand.
That's where you come in.
We are looking for someone who is keen either already based in China, or willing to make their home in Foshan or Xián to run our business there. You will work very closely with our New Zealand team, and be our link with our team in China.
- You are accountable for ensuring effective people management/resourcing.
- Engagement and health and safety of people within the China Operations team.
- This includes managing both offices, executing the strategic vision for Serko’s ongoing presence in China
- Including providing adequate insight and information for the executive team to make optimal decisions.
