Flightcell are at the forefront of aviation communications integration technology and provide the world’s only all-in-one satellite and cellular solution for global voice, data, messaging and flight tracking. They are responsive, future focused and have a creative, fun and flexible work culture.

Due to growth, they need an experienced Hardware Design Engineer (5+ years) to join their hardware engineering team.  This role is responsible for creating and maintaining innovative hardware and electronic solutions for Flightcell’s satellite and cellular communications tools.  This includes research, concept development and bringing new products ideas to life through prototyping.  You will design new, and refine existing products to suit a rapidly evolving and growing global customer base.  Solutions and customer focused, you will contribute to the assembly process to ensure successful and timely delivery to the customer.   

This role would suit someone with a strong knowledge of electronic hardware design using packages such as Altium and ECAD (Solid Works), supported by a relevant qualification in Electronic Engineering.  You will be a stickler for producing high quality work and meeting deadlines.  A team environment, you will be collaborative, enjoy working in diverse teams and be an effective communicator. Experience in Agile, cellular or satellite communications, knowledge and/or an interest in aviation are all beneficial.
