Due to continued growth, our client is looking to employ a General Manager – Innovation and Growth to be based in Tauranga.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this key role will have a large amount of autonomy to creatively do things differently. The objective is to meaningfully connect with target market and create short and sustainable value chains.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing strong relationships with key Asian markets and translating their needs into commercial success.
Additionally, you will be responsible for leading disruptive thinking and design innovation and will be involved in the integration of other strategic growth initiatives across the business.
To be successful, you will have a high degree of emotional intelligence and have strong sales and marketing experience with a solid understanding of digital marketing.
Strategic and commercial acumen with proven experience in building partnerships is essential.
You will also have a strong empathy for the primary sector and a quiet dissatisfaction for the status quo.
An understanding of Asian markets would be highly advantageous.
You will also have the ability to think on your feet and an apply an entrepreneurial flair with a tenacious and solutions focused approach.
