 Heinz Wattie's proudly produces a vast variety of fresh, frozen and ambient food products every year for consumers of all ages and stages, for every meal occasion and every season, making it a staple in New Zealand households.  As part of the Kraft Heinz company globally, we are a world leader in the Dehydrated Vegtable business with sales into the World's largest food manufacturing organizations all over the globe.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a resourceful, driven and commercially focussed individual to join the New Zealand Export team.  You will report directly into the Head of Exports for Australia & New Zealand and be responsible for the sales across Australasia, Europe and The America's and with some travel opportunities. 

 The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong long-lasting relationships with external and internal stakeholders.  With a real customer orientated approach you will need to drive opportunities globally and maintain relationships with existing customers whilst ensuring the opportunity for new business is maximised.  You will need to have the ability to understand and work with complex and technical information regarding food specifications, food quality, demand and forecasting, logistics and shipping.  This role suits a self-starter who is innately inquisitive and has the initiative to work and learn independantly.

What you need:

•Proven ability building professional relationships and work with technical information

•Ability to work independently, as part of a team and  work under pressure to tight deadlines

•A skilled negotiator and problem solver  with a 'can do' approach to solving problems

•Experience from a Sales/Account Management/Shipping/Logistics background would be ideal

•Flexibility to work the hours required to manage customer relationships across different time zones and travel where necessary 

•Ambition to build a long term career

•Tertiary qualifications preferred
