Providing support to the Museum’s Director/CEO (Anthony Wright) the new Executive Assistant will demonstrate passion, integrity, enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ attitude in order to fit into this highly values based environment. The ability to manage a large and diverse workload together with the ability to build a close working relationship and deep level of trust with Anthony is essential for success.
You will fulfil the definition of a ‘true EA’ with core skills in secretarial and administrative functions and provide proactive support to the Director in all areas, including; correspondence, diary management, preparing PowerPoint presentations, collation of briefing & board papers, organising meetings and liaising with visitors etc. The role will also provide secretarial support to the Canterbury Museum Trust Board and is additionally responsible for all the Museum’s HR Administration requirements.
Applicants will possess significant experience in providing wide-ranging Chief Executive level support and have a knack for quickly establishing their indispensability in this capacity. With a superior knowledge of MS Office, candidates will be well organised and display an exceptional work ethic, excellent attention to detail and impeccable judgement.
