The Role

Based in Christchurch and reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking a talented Engineering Manager to lead the team in engineering, research and development, and  lead continual improvement of the products, production processes, testing and services, for the future success of the business. This role ensures products meet design and quality criteria, are production ready, and that engineering staff are well trained and supported to deliver technical solutions based upon customers’ requirements.

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in leading a small technical team and contributing towards the development of a high-performance culture. You will have experience in providing best practices management within the engineering manufacturing environment, including developing robust systems. You will have strong knowledge of MV electrical products and manufacturing as well as ideally Mechanical or Electronics engineering knowledge. You will hold a relevant tertiary electrical engineering qualification with project engineering experience.
