For a passionate, senior Human Resources generalist – opportunities in Dunedin don’t get much better than this! Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive: People, Performance and Development, the focus of this role will be on strengthened performance and staff capability through self-leading teams and embedding sustainability practice across the organisation. You will also lead key projects to achieve strategic goals. This role will provide motivational leadership, coaching and support to the newly formed People & Culture team and foster a proactive business partner focused approach.
Applicants will be tertiary qualified with excellent knowledge of NZ employment legislation and a proven track record of delivery as a senior HR/OD leader, preferably gained within a tertiary education setting. You will be comfortable in a consultative environment, have an innovative approach, along with a ‘coaching’ leadership style and strong experience leading cultural change.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior HR practitioner with a demonstrated ability to step outside the ‘pure HR professional’ label and contribute at both an operational and strategic level.
