As Director This role will also serve other local business needs needs our general business needs and we are recommending long-term arrangements with strategic partners, predominantly game companies and other strategic content creators, coordinate projects across internal teams, and evaluate agreements.   • Fully understand the partner objectives, effectively communicate them internally, and formulate strategies to help Twitch meet these goals
  • Ensure understanding of all Twitter business units' products and recommendations go-to market strategies to implement those products with partners
  • Work closely with the Twitch technical product teams to ensure that game companies understand and integrate Twitch's portfolio of technical products and capabilities
  • Work alongside the partnerships / community teams to educate game companies about the importance of Twitch broadcasters and community development for their games
  • Create and mediate co-marketing opportunities for the marketing team as it pertains to content partnerships, event activations, and product marketing with game companies
  • Support deal investigations,define value, and recommend partnerships; willinterface closely with legal, product and finance teams at Twitch HQ and advise on long-term partnerships
  • Identify local market trends and synthesize observations into actionable execution plans

Basic Qualifications

  • + 4-5 years of business development, corp dev, operations and / or production experience at a gaming or technology company (+8 years total experience)
  • Well versed with software / gaming development (actual coding not required), SDKs / APIs
  • Passion for gaming as well as the business of gaming, content, and media
  • Strong knowledge of Twitch
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Existing professional relationships with game publishers and developers
  • Experience with P & L, gaming, and media business models
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Travel for conferences, tradeshows, events
  • Basic software skills: CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote or similar programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior finance, banking or consulting experience servicing gaming and / or media clients a plus
