Southfuels Limited was established in 2006 with the aim of enabling a wider option of bulk fuel delivery and distribution to the Primary Sector in New Zealand. In 2008, on the back of successful growth in the South Island, Southfuels launched its sub brand Northfuels in the North Island. Reporting to the Interim Shared Services Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the IT Systems and Services and providing accurate and timely advice to the organisation and Senior Leadership Team. The role will proactively manage systems that are “fit for purpose” and are optimum “enablers” to assist the business to drive forward. Additionally, you will provide advice on IT and Systems infrastructure and lead IT and Systems related projects to assess, develop and implement new applications and ensure improvements to existing applications.
What you will bring to the journey
You will be experienced in a similar role and have relevant technical qualifications to support this experience. You’ll be focused on ensuring users receive world class support which means you will be organised, an effective and patient communicator and enjoy contributing in a strong team culture. Additionally you will have experience leading projects, solid commercial and business acumen, the ability to prioritise workloads and an analytical approach to problem solving coupled with an innovative approach to process and systems improvements.
