United Media Solution is an international communication agency with core focus on international conversation, marketing consulting, cultural analysis, and social media management. We offer bilingual media solutions and information communication technology services for international corporate to reach China market. Our head office is in Auckland, New Zealand. We also have offices in Shanghai, Ningbo, and Nottingham University (Ningbo Campus).


We are looking for an innovative and experienced Digital Account Executive to join our Shanghai team. The ideal candidate will have international digital agency experience in China, and have extensive knowledge about China’s popular Weibo, WeChat and other leading digital/social channels.

As a Digital Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to work with senior managers and the marketing managers of the world’s leading companies, to help them maximize their digital marketing and communication objectives in their China market.

Prior working experience at “BAT” companies is a bonus!


Build solid customer relationships and act as an important point of contact for customers’ day-to-day needs. 

Keep closely coordinate with creative team, and IT development, guarantee the creative productions meet client’s requirement. 

Oversee all projects throughout the project cycle; understand the project status on a daily basis. 

Regularly contact clients regarding campaign optimization and opportunities; monitor campaign delivery. 

Provide timely issuance of all documentation: proposals, project initiations, creative briefs, estimates, timelines, meeting summaries, and status and budget reports. 

Analyze campaign objective vs performance data and identify strategies for maximizing campaign ROI. 

Work in a proactive manner to provide client campaigns with the greatest amount of added value through communications. 

Cultivate business relationships with online ad agencies and direct marketers. 

Collect information and trends in clients ‘industry domain, focus on latest state, business development, potential demand of clients. 

Represent for UMS to participate in relative social events and business activity to extend social circle and promote UMS brand indirectly. 


Ideally 2+ years’ digital campaign management experience in China. 

Proven experience working with clients to fully understand company business objectives, and ability to develop strategies to meet goals.

Bilingual with excellent English verbal and written communication skills, and native Chinese.  

Extensive knowledge about China digital marketplace and all associated metrics, familiar with e-commerce.

Ability to prioritize and focus, with strict attention to detail. 

Strong data analysis and problem solving skills. 

Faster learner, must be creative, logical, and flexible. 

Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Solid knowledge of social media channels including: Weibo, WeChat etc.
