The Role

Bascik Transport is seeking a friendly and dynamic person to join their dedicated team. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • handling customer enquiries
  • booking and processing jobs
  • logging shipping documentation
  • maintaining and checking customers bookings to ensure deadlines are being met
  • answering both phone and email enquiries from clients and liaising with the dispatch team
  • ensuring all requests are responded to efficiently and effectively


Your Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will:

  • have a background in a similar customer focused role with confidence to answer and respond to all phone enquiries
  • have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate to people at all levels
  • be highly adaptable and flexible
  • have a ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving and excellent attention to detail
  • have strong communication skills and be well organised with good time management
  • enjoy working within a team environment and have a broad sense of humour
  • have experience in a related industry such as shipping, transport, warehousing or logistics
