Network Tasman Limited, based in Richmond, Nelson owns and operates the electricity distribution network in the wider Nelson and Tasman areas, providing power to over 39,000 connections. Owned on behalf of consumers, the Company has revenues of $44 million and provides significant discounts back to its customers, with a record $11.7 million returned last year. Network Tasman has complementary investments in fibre, electricity metering, property and Nelson Electricity Limited. The electricity industry has a number of exciting business challenges including the likely impact disruptive technologies will have on the traditional network distribution model.

Reporting to the CEO and supported by a team of 5, the Corporate Services Manager will lead Network Tasman’s finance and administration functions. The position is responsible for a diverse corporate portfolio including finance, treasury and investments, property management and development (circa $22 million), IT and HR, as well as company secretarial support. 

We seek high energy candidates with a tertiary degree in accounting or finance and a CA qualification, along with senior management/accounting experience. In addition, experience managing change, IT networks and infrastructure is desirable. Successful candidates must possess excellent commercial acumen with the ability to add value to strategic business decisions and make sound investment judgements.
