The Commercial Manager’s responsibility is to support the Director, Property Services in terms of managing the division’s legal and commercial functions including finance, property management, contract management, legal and compliance issues and IT. The successful applicant will be required to meet defined accountabilities and results in all of these areas and will ensure that the University’s best interests are represented at all times. Team leadership and contributing to Property Service’s strategy and planning, as part of the Property Senior Leadership Team, will also form part of your remit.

To succeed in this role, you will have extensive finance, legal, IT, contracts and property management experience gained within a complex organisation.

You will be seen as a credible and influential Manager with highly developed written and verbal communication skills and an ability to build relationships at all levels across the organisation. Your ability to motivate and lead to deliver goals effectively, combined with sound professional judgement and decision making skills, will be key to your success in this role. All of this will be supported by your qualifications, ideally a degree in Business, Commerce or Law.
