Sitting within NZTE Wellington, 'G2G Know-How' is limited liability company charged with marketing and selling New Zealand's State Sector intellectual property and capability to overseas governments. The remit is broad - from education frameworks to food safety and horticulture, fishing surveys to E-government and public sector reform. And, the potential huge.
We have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our growing team with a view to commercialising and exporting New Zealand's State Sector expertise, drawing on world leading capacity across the public and private sectors. As a joint venture between NZTE and MFAT, G2G Know-How works hand in glove with the Ambassadorial and Trade Commissioner networks off-shore to hunt opportunities and stay close to clients. In this interesting and varied role you'll work with capability providers, client governments and private companies to identify, package, bid for and deliver opportunities. We are looking for proven experience in marshalling resources, quickly establishing relationships, doing deals and delighting customers - particularly in the international setting.
If you have business experience across the Arabian Gulf which includes international sales experience and/or experience in competing for international tenders -then we want to hear from you. Strong analytical and written skills and with an agility to pull a robust and professional proposal together on the go are a must. Previous consulting or professional services experience would be advantageous. As would any broad international experience and a strong knowledge of the New Zealand State Sector offer.
